Staffys are such an affectionate breed. They can be misunderstood a bit - like pitbulls in USA. Ours used to jump on my lap like a cat. He was goofy, a rascal at times but so funny and loving. It was a sad day when at aged 5 he died from lumps all in his body- cancer?

I adopted a few months ago a gorgeous 10 years old Himalayan female who apparently was lashing at kittens: probably because she was tired of having so many of them. She was returned twice to the shelter. She is keener on males in the family and not on me, the one who pulled all the strings to adopt her and make her life easier now, probably because she 'dealt' with a woman all these 10 years and grew not to like women. She is utterly spoilt and had to throw away so many expensive pate because she likes only treats and catnip and since she does not eat much anyway, we try to do what she likes. Interestingly, she slept near us from the first night and after a few weeks on the bed, resting her head on my pillow yet she does not like stepping on thick, expensive carpets and only on thinner ones just to reach the bed or sofa for example. Sleeping all the time, playing the rest, or eating. A gorgeous kitty who looks even better now, a few months later. Good life shows, just like with humans. More pets to be adopted in the future and give them a better life.

I am so pleased for these beautiful dogs being rescued & taken into families who will lavish love upon them. Dogs are a blessing & gift to us. They give unconditional love & comfort to us. I just do not understand how ‘humans’ can be so cruel & let them starve. If a person’s circumstances change, surely the most humane thing to do would be to call the RSPCA rescue center & surrender them to those who will find a loving home, or homes for the dogs, where they will be loved & cared for. SAD BEGINNINGG; LOVELY ENDING..♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
